What Are Threads?

How Long Do Threads Last?

Each type of thread is different, but on average optimal results last for 9 months to a year depending on the patient. The collagen production does not "last" a certain amount of time, but it will need to be boosted each year as aging continues.

Is There Downtime After Threads?

There is no true downtime required, however you should expect a bit of swelling and slight redness in your treated areas. To prevent excess swelling, we recommend avoiding heavy exercise, salty foods, alcohol, and sleeping face down the same night as your appointment. Icing the area will help to reduce swelling and ease any sensitivity.

Once I Start Threads, Can I Stop?

Of course. Thanks to our strategic placement, threads naturally and gradually fade away on their own and increase collagen production as they dissolve. You aren't obligated to continue treatment... although we are confident you will want to!
