What Is Diolaze?

FDA-approved and safe, Diolaze is a laser used to reduce hair production. This laser works by targeting the hair during the growth phase of the hair cycle. Because it works on the hair during one phase of the growth cycle, multiple treatments are requirred to hit each individual strand during its growth phase. Pricing reflects the 6-8 treatments needed to capture each strand's growth phase. This laser works by recognizing melanin in the hair strand. Therefore, treatment will not be as effective on lighter, thinner hair strands.

How Long Does Diolaze Last?

Each patient is different. Maintenance treatment is recommended when you notice the hair is growing back faster or thicker, which should be around 1-2 years post initial treatment. It should not require a full 6-8 treatments for maintenance, if treatment is done within appropriate timeline.

Is There Downtime After Diolaze?

There is no true downtime required, however you should expect a bit of swellin and slight redness in your treated areas. To prevent excess swelling, we recommend avoiding heavy exercise, salty foods, alcohol, and sleeping face down the same night as your appointment. Icing the area will help to reduce swelling and ease any sensitivity. You should avoid any self tanner, direct sun exposure, scrubs, picking and plucking. Let the hair strands fall off on their own!

Once I Start Diolaze, Can I Stop?

Of course. Treatment does not need to be continued if you are satisfied with your result. It is not requirred to continue treatment year after year if you have done one treatment.
